Mr. Liang graduated from Soochow University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, inspired by the movie “The Social Network”, Mr. Liang was obsessed with coding in college. In addition to being a programmer, Mr. Liang passed the Patent Attorney Exam and the National Bar Exam both in one time. He thinks litigation is quite similar with debugging in the real world.
Mr. Liang co-founded Buds IP with his friend Li Qi, make it the best adapter of running IP business with internet thinking pattern in China. Being benefit with the booming IP protection needs in China, it has grown rapidly and filing thousands of IP matters annually.
Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English, now his focus has moved to how to help oversea law firms and applicants file and manage their IP portfolio in China in a visual-able dashboard. The market size of it is way smaller than Chinese applicants globalize their IPs, yet Mr. Liang insists that the value we deliver to the rest of the world would be unprecedented in this sector.
Mr. Liang is also a communicator par excellence, endowed with a profound sense of empathy and responsibility. Now he is leading a team of competent patent attorneys and programmers to deliver the best services to overseas clients.
After becoming a father, Mr. Liang transferred from the Beijing Office to the Suzhou Office, trying to give his child more fresh air and sufficient living space. In his spare time, Mr. Liang likes to study eastern and western history, absorbing the experience from the rise and fall of empires.
